Our dance teachers

Jidu Pasqualini

Jidu was born in Rio de Janeiro geboren, grew up in São Paulo and has been living in Stuttgart since 1996.

Jidu is said to be one of the pioneers of the Forró movement in Germany – be it as teacher and organizer of the Forró de Domingo parties, the Dança Bonito dance school, or the Forró de Domingo festival. He teaches all levels of dance classes in Stuttgart and also works as freelance actor, applied theater teacher, storyteller, and circus trainer for children and adolescents.

Jaduam Pasqualini

Jadu was born in São Paulo and grew up there. Due to his brothers' influence, he, too, discovered his passion for Forró. He started to teach in Ludwigsburg and later on in Stuttgart as well. Here, he has his own dance group.

Today, Jadu teaches regular classes at the Dança Bonito dance school as well as in different schools and universities in and around Stuttgart (e.g., also in Tübingen). He is co-organiser of the Forró de Domingo parties.

Fábio Reis

Fábio is dancer, teacher, and choreographer of ballroom dances; over the past 15 years, his main dance has been Forró.

Since then he has won the Brazilian Forró Championships twice, as well as several awards in national and international dance festivals. At the moment, he is supporting our team of teachers and also teaches his multicultural Forró style in Stuttgart.

Jian Pasqualini

Jian was born in São Lourenço and discovered his interest in Forró music and dance early on.

He performs together with several Forró bands and is organizer of the Forró party at Myemy Bar in Stuttgart. Jian teaches the introductory classes every Sunday at the Forró de Domingo parties at 7grad in Stuttgart; here, he is also co-organiser of the parties and works regularly as our DJ.

J. Terra Pasqualini

Terra was born in Minas Gerais and grew up in São Paulo. Already at the age of 15, he discovered the in the mid 90s vastly growing Forrò scene in São Paulo. He started to learn how to dance and joined in the booming Casas de Forró in São Paulo.

Terra is one of the founders of the Brazilian cultures association 'Verein Brasilianischer Kulturen e.V.' and of Europe's largest Forró festival, the 'Forró de Domingo Festival' in Stuttgart; in this festival and others, he teaches Forró classes.
